My new found love for cooking…….

So I found a new hobby…cooking I seriously can’t get enough. I decided the first of the year I was going to spend at least 15 minutes doing something that makes me smile each day, to get rid of that WORK stress. So I spend 15 more like hours in the kitchen each weekend, just because I can, cooking for my family. And each night, I’m making myself new vegan dinners. For my family I stick with breads and “new” red meat recipes. I find recipes online and convert them myself to a healthier version. Like adding whole wheat pastry flour instead white flour, honey for sugar, etc. Yeah I have to admit it I’m a health nut, it’s a horrible plague in my life…I can’t even eat at Subway, it literally grosses me out.

So I’m making Oatmeal Soda Bread=)

  3. My favorite part about that recipe is the fact that you cook it in an iron skillet!!!! :) It just makes it look soooo amazing! And it taste amazing too! I love the pictures... nothing like homemade bread! My favorite is the picture of the bread right out of the oven in the skillet... Yummy!

  4. OLIVIA!!!! I didn't know you were a health nut too! :) What you described sounds like my adventures in the kitchen. I also LOVE cooking. And making unhealthy recipes into amazing healthy ones is fascinating; it's definitely a hobby of mine. I'm looking forward to making some delicious healthy Valentine's treats!
Your photos of the bread are beautiful! I've never been able to master the talent of making food look...edible...in pictures. Your pictures are pretty enough to grace a cookbook!
