Our Christmas (part 2)

 

As promised here’s pictures from the rest of our wonderful Christmas=)

I started my morning out very normal…workout etc. and then I drove over to feed my horses. I fed alone, not wanting to make Christina and Isaac to have to wake up early on Christmas morning. It’s bad enough that I’m a morning person.=)

Right before opening gifts…it take’s forever to get us all smiling and to stop talking all at once=) I love my family so much!

I love Christmas! And this year was no exception, I think we all were a bit nervous coming up to Christmas in a new house…but it was awesome! And all of our traditions held secure and didn’t feel unnatural at all=)

Our Christmas=) (part 1)

 

Our Christmas started on Christmas Eve. JT and Max’s mom had them on Christmas so we opened their gifts on Christmas Eve.

Out of all the adults pictured I was the only one that had to work on Christmas Eve!!! But only till 12 and then I came home in a hurry to celebrate.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!

 

I hope you all are having a wonderful Christmas…I know I am. Remember that without Christ there wouldn’t be a CHRISTmas=)

My parents have worked hard to keep Jesus’ birth in our Christmas. And I believe now looking back over my 20 Christmas's they have succeeded at doing just that.

Here are a few neat traditions that I think complete our Christmas each year

THE BUILDING OF A SNOWMAN=)

Their dad helped them build a snowman after their cooking adventures…The moment before the “nose theft” took the poor snowman’s carrot nose….

And off he goes…….way too funny=)

I LOvE Color!!!!!

Isaiah 45:18 “For this is what the LORD says—he who created
the heavens, he is God; he who fashioned and made the earth, he
founded it; he did not create it to be empty, but formed it to be
inhabited— he says: “I am the LORD, and there is no other.”

 
- God could have made everything black and white or just plain brown… but, instead he
created wonderful colors—beautiful colors!
- Everything could have been tasteless. But, God created a seemingly infinite variety of
wonderful flavors.
- He did the same with fragrances.
- He made the earth not just livable, but truly beautiful and enjoyable.

Why?

Because God is love and he wanted to remind us everyday of his great love for us.
Consider some of what God says about his love for us in the Bible:

Psalm 145:8,17 “The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger
and rich in love. The LORD is righteous in all his ways and loving toward all
he has made.”

Job 7:17 “What is man that you make so much of him, that you give him so
much attention…?”

Psalm 107:1,8 “Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures
forever. Let them give thanks to the LORD for his unfailing love and his
wonderful deeds for men…”

Don’t those verses just make you feel good!

I took these while making a salad, I was so impressed with the color I had to take a ton of pictures of them…_{sorry and this is only a few of them=)}

Snowy Photo-shoot=)

This lovely couple is celebrating their first anniversary this December…I love her outfit!

They are both so adorable=) I enjoyed taking these so much, plus I got to hang with Carolyn for an hour afterwards and just talk=) and who doesn’t like doing that?!?!?
