Day 8
~I am…~
I am making my lunch…salad nothing exciting.
Day 9
~Favorite~
my favorite hands….my mom’s beautiful hands
Her Hands
Her hands held me gently from the day I took my first breath.
Her hands helped to guide me as I took my first step.
Her hands held me close when the tears would start to fall.
Her hands were quick to show me that she would take care of it all.
Her hands were there to brush my hair, or straighten a wayward bow.
Her hands were often there to comfort the hurts that didn't always show.
Her hands helped hold the stars in place, and encouraged me to reach.
Her hands would clap and cheer and praise when I captured them at length.
Her hands would also push me, though not down or in harms way.
Her hands would punctuate the words, just do what I say.
Her hands sometimes had to discipline, to help bend this young tree.
Her hands would shape and mold me into all she knew I could be.
Her hands are now aged with years of work,
Her hand still gentle rub away lives hurt.
Her hands are more beautiful than anything can be.
Her hands are the reason I am me.
I loVE this poem! =) okay on to more pictures

Day 14
~in my bag~
I thought it best not to embarrass myself by taking a picture of all the stuff I carry with me everywhere…so I just pulled out the most important things to me at the moment and left the rest out. Yeah your welcome=) With braces I HAVE to carry a toothbrush with me everywhere…especially when I have rubber bands in. Also shown is my portable pedicure set.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
I like this photo-a-day idea! It gives a good glimpse of your daily life. :) Which is fun.

DeleteI remember when girls weren't supposed to like the Stooges and I was always impressed by the ones that did. (At least admit it) I'm talking the 60s btw.
ReplyDeleteYeah? I didn't know that, that's so neat.
Delete...I don't really care for them myself, lol...my brother was watching them.
I am always looking forward to your next Photo-a- day post! I would like to do it myself sometime=) The boys love the three Stooges, but, they can get annoying sometimes, to me at least=)
ReplyDeleteThanks Gracie...it means so much to me that your following this=)
DeleteOur friends son-in-law did this photo-a-day thing from Rwanda, last year, with his 2 elementary school age boys involved. It was cool. I guess the Stooges are still mostly a guy thing.
