~Photo-a-day~ May 14–May 20

 

This past week was spent preparing our house and yard for the “going away party” of some dear friends. Hannah’s best friend and her family. They will be offically moving to Florida sometime on/around Memorial Day. It will be so different without them here, when I think about it I almost cry. They are wonderful people and we have so many memories with them.

Saturday went well considering. Victoria was sick and Christina had to work so the pre-party preparation was just Hannah and me. Speed cleaning that last bathroom together was hilarious. Under stress, surprisingly we work pretty well together.

I had to miss the last half of the party due to pre-arranged plans to attend the Rascal Flatts concert in Noblesville. I took Christina, as a birthday gift. Jonathan’s second person didn’t work out, so at the last minute Joseph was recruited to fill the last seat. You can not imagine how much more fun a concert can be with more siblings…we have fun together anyway, but at a concert – it was the best time I’ve ever had at a concert. Christina and Joseph had never been to one like this…let alone sitting on the fifth row. Watching their faces was the best part. Joseph’s words describe this evening perfectly  “By far, the loudest thing I've ever been too!! Crazy!!!” I think he had fun=)

I really wanted to enjoy myself at the concert and not be worried about that “good photo” I was missing by just listening to the song so I left my camera in the car. This was a photo of them singing my favorite song of the night. “Banjo” =)

This was a spontaneous photo shoot. I love how well my mom posed and just enjoyed the entire shoot.
