~Photo-a-day~ Sept 17 – Sept 23

Hi everyone!

This week I’ve been trying to get my schedule back on track. A brief relationship in July knocked me off my normal routine and I spent all August just trying to get motivated to get back on track. Well after that relaxing week in North Carolina with my parents at the beginning of the month…it was just what I needed…I’m happy to say I’m back to my regiment of getting up at 4:30 a.m. and doing my work-out before I head out the door for the day. I make this possible by actually GOING to bed by 10:30 at night. I’m feeling more awake this week and am awaking in the morning by myself (thanks to my wonderful parents for waking me up last week, it’s always a rough start=) It’s so freeing to have so much accomplished before I even start for work. Goodbye to those morning of awaking minutes before I am suppose to be at work.

As you know I LOVE dieting so I’ve been trying this one for ten days…and I’m tempted to go on for thirty…NO gluten, NO sweeteners, NO meat, and NO dairy. I kicked all the starchy vegetables out, as well. So what is left to eat?!?!? lots of veggies…lol actually not much, but it’s been so fun. So far I believe I’ve only eaten a little butter, I think mom had put some on the green beans I ate one evening. At least the tasted like they did. Other than that I haven’t cheated and I’m on day ten=) I’ve been experimenting with quinoa, I actually prepared it once for breakfast – it wasn’t too bad. Have you ever cooked with quinoa? You can prepare veggies a million different ways, but a salad is always the easiest=)

Enjoy the pictures, can’t believe Autumn is here already. And I’ve taken photo-a-day for almost a year!

Day 260

~delicious~

my delicious breakfast=) tomatoes are a breakfast food right???? okay, so I was a bit hungry…hahaIMG_9563-001

Day 261

~everyday I…~

everyday I’m doing one of these workout. I’m loving it! Very intense…IMG_9579-002Day 262

~light~

This is sorta embarrassing, but I do work for Amish. This is the light I use in my office (in the mornings) when I don’t want to heat the room up. The gas light is very warm and unless my office is cold I don’t turn it on. Normally I work in a naturally lighted office…I have a lamp by my main desk but that’s all the extra light.IMG_9594-001

Day 263

~soft~

milkweed pods are all dried out now…JT just loved to open them and watch all the seeds blow away. Who hasn’t done this as a kid?IMG_9740-001

Day 264

Day 265

~out my window~

So here’s another peek into what my world is like. This is my bosses house, right out my office window. He’s been sighting his gun in…haha…all ready for deer season.IMG_9822-001

Day 266

~full~

my day was so full! Leaving work to rush home, swallow some dinner, and make it to another lady’s house within the hour. I do some bookkeeping for her. IMG_9833-001

Which photos did you like best??

Jonathan Tyler II 6th Birthday!

JT’s birthday party was loud like every party we have…=)

IMG_1250-001

Dear JT,

Hey, this is your youngest aunt… It’s hard to believe your already 6! I remember holding you in my arms the day you were born…thinking how tiny your nose and hands were. I was only 14 then, hard to believe! I remember when you started walking, talking and all those fun things=)  But mostly what you and I have done together has included horses. You weren’t more than 6 months old when I took you on your first horse ride. Then you and your parents moved to Minnesota…I didn’t see much of you for a few years, except for that summer you spent in Indiana (living out of a suitcase) while your dad was working here. I have so many memories hiking in the woods with you. I remember once I got you all mixed up in the middle of the woods and then told you to take me home (you were 4 then). You set there for a minute thinking…   then took off walking, straight to the house. Swimming in the river, helping me make maple syrup, cooking. etc. Everything I do you always want to be there.  I loVe you so much! Hope your year is wonderful and full of God’s many blessings!

Aunt Viva=)

Hoosier Outdoor Experience 2013

I think this and the State Fair are my two favorite events to visit each year. I loVe Benjamin Fort Harrison state park…it’s beautiful with all of it’s sycamore trees and hills.

We only did a participated in a few of the many activities available that day. The mini canoe trip was my favorite, but of course I wasn’t allowed to have my camera in the canoe and didn’t get any pictures of it.

We got to try Canada Goose meat cooked like five different ways…so good! The barbecued meat was my favorite, but it was all tasty=)

IMG_8614-001I just loVe this picture of him…those eyes and freckles

4th Birthday Party!!!!!!

Dear Maximus,

Today July 28th you turned 4 years old. For a 4 year old you have already experienced a lot in life. Both good and bad. You’re a strong kid though and are going to grow up to be a sweet young man. Life will never stop throwing hard things your way…overcome them and never quit smiling. Always love those around you especially your dad, mom and older brother…they are the most important people in your life! I can’t wait to see the things you will do in the coming years. And I look forward to watching you grow up. I love you “till the mountains come tumbling down”=)

Pictures from the past...

Here are some pictures from last year...I had just bought my camera. They are very random...All of these were taken during September of 2012.

My sister ran in a soldier 5k memorial run last year in Ohio, you guessed it American flags were everywhere...I went along to capture the moment=) That's one good thing about owning a camera...you are included in stuff you normally wouldn't be!

Simple beauty

This was taken on a moving trolly...but I still liked the magical look of it.

I want to be doing this when I'm their age!

Heart breakers=)

My brother Isaac...look at those arms

Samuel <3

Cute right?

There was fire fighter standing around while we were taking these and they told her to get in...wishing about this time that she was the one taking pictures of me...

I absolutely love jeeps!...there were so many and I took a lot of pictures of them but I'll spare you the pain of looking at them=)

Cool right?!?!
