When I don’t think I’m good enough

One of the worst/best things for a blogger would be looking at other peoples blogs (especially the ones that focus on the same thing yours does). I think that maybe I should switch up and make mine a bit more like theirs…or add this, then I change my mind and think I should just quit all together. But then I come back to the reason why I started this blog and remind myself who I’m doing this for in the first place.

why do I blog????…for myself! because I love blogging and absolutely can’t wait to post my next set of pictures. It makes me capture more and more of my life through my camera lens. I love looking back and just having pictures of the everyday things that go on around our house, or just that one beautiful flower.

when I don’t feel like I’m good enough to blog. I feel like this all the time. I mean I’m not the best at composition or photography. I misspell words all the time, as hard as I try not too. But does that really matter???? no it doesn’t, because if I wasn’t worried about what people thought, it wouldn’t really matter to me. Just like my diary-I don’t care how poor my sentence structures are in it. because no one else reads it. I enjoy writing and I don’t have the time or money at the moment to take the necessary classes that would correct this problem. But that’s not really what this blog is about anyway….I’m trying to get better at photography. So that’s where most of my time and money will be focused on. AND if I feel like I’m getting better in this one area, than I’m succeeding. The choice is up to me and I choose to formulate my own opinions of who I am and this blog is, rather than relying on an imaginary outsider to determine these things for me.

Ice Skating in July?…yeah we did it=)

Christina and one of our friends put this event together…and it was a huge success! I feel so happy on the ice, its hard not to be when your gliding on ice=) not that I glide or anything, in my head I look pretty dang good though=)

Two hours of skating and it wasn’t very expensive…can’t beat cheap entertainment, also something that you get a pretty good workout doing.

Afterwards we all met at Stake ‘n Shake for dinner…Once the vehicle I was in made it there….did you know that there’s a TON of these restaurants in Indy???? we went to every single one of them, before we finally found the ONE that the entire group had gone too. Late night food, fun and laughter…can’t beat it=)

This little guy will be a champ at skating one day…he’s got like the world’s coolest dad=) for actually taking the time to let him get started at this ageIMG_4702-001IMG_4708-001IMG_4713-001IMG_4716-001IMG_4729-001IMG_4731-001IMG_4733-001these guys think their so bad…hahaIMG_4736-001IMG_4737-001IMG_4742-001IMG_4748-001IMG_4754-001IMG_4770-001IMG_4775-001and for a change I wanted a few pictures myself….so I took oneIMG_4783-001and I took another…I love this one=)IMG_4785-001Christina trying to get everyone together for a group photo….haha quite the choreIMG_4839-001and here we all are=) I love all these people, some of the best friends life can giveIMG_4845-001IMG_4847-001
